Wyoming state quarter features the state nickname and official symbol - cowboy on bucking horse
Wyoming became the 10th state in 1890 (see STATEHOOD ORDER). Wyoming's state quarter features the state nickname: "The Equality State," and the outline of a cowboy and bucking bronco (Wyoming officially adopted this emblem as a symbol of the state, and rodeo is also the state sport).
