Official State Dinosaur of Connecticut

Connecticut designated Dilophosaurus the official state dinosaur in July 2017 (the track of  Eubrontes Giganteus was adopted the official state fossil of Connecticut in 1991). All State Dinosaurs

Dilophosaurus was a double-crested carnivorous theropod dinosaur that roamed what is now Connecticut during the Jurassic era. According to The Hartford Courant; "In the mid-1960s, a bulldozer operator in Rocky Hill uncovered fossilized dinosaur tracks believed to be made by a close relative of the Dilophosaurus."
