What do you call a resident of New York?

A  person from the state of New York is called a New Yorker. Residents of the state are also categorized as being either from "The City" or "Upstate."

"The City" of course is New York City, and "Upstate" is everywhere else. Upstate sounds like a northern location (perhaps the Adirondacks or Finger Lakes region), but residents of places west of "The City" (like Albany and Buffalo) are also "Upstate." All State Resident Names
