Natchez Trace National Scenic Trail
The Natchez Trace Parkway in Mississippi administers the 450-mile Natchez Trace National Scenic Trail.
The foot trail between Natchez, Mississippi and Nashville, Tennessee that became known as the Natchez Trace was traveled by farmers, diplomats, ladies, bandits, soldiers and slaves. Today, five separate trails totaling over 60 miles allow visitors to experience stunning landscapes, history, and culture.
