The Iowa Quarter

The U.S. Mint's bicentennial commemorative quarter for Iowa features Grant Wood’s “Arbor Day” painting of a one-room schoolhouse with teacher and students planting a tree, and the caption; "Foundation in Education." According to the Georgia General Assembly, "Adoptable dog" means any dog in the custody of any animal shelter, humane society, or public or private animal refuge that is available for adoption by the general public.
